Whimsy Home + Studio sells lampshades and bases separately. I have made the fabric drums while Kat Konijn, my friend in Dunedin, cleverly designs wet-felted shades and unique curved traditional frames with handpicked fabric, new or vintage. 
 
Shades are made from either pre-loved frames or new drum frames.  If you have any un-used frames at home please bring them in for a $10 credit towards a new shade. The table lamp bases are pre-loved , electrically checked and tagged and normally retail about $35.

I have a limited selection of standard floor bases too. These are $95 unwired or $195 for re-wired lamps. If you are looking to re-wire any base the usual quote anywhere is between $70 to $100. As a second-hand trader I cannot sell any wired electrical items unless they have been safety tagged.
 
Feel free to bring in your lamp base to pair with our shades for the perfect match. Alternatively bring in your shade to match with a base. Or bring in your shade that you would like to re-cover.
The shades below are currently for sale in the shop. These are not in the online shop but just enquire if you want one couriered. Freight for these is approximately $35 for a 30cm shade.
